The mission of the Coalition Theater is to build an inclusive space where laughter connects people.

Through shows, classes, workshops, and community partnerships, we help people find their comedic voice, and give them a safe and welcoming place to share it.

The Coalition strives to live up to its mission of inclusivity and comedic connection. Our Statement of Intent is a living roadmap for building a community where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.

Our Action and Accountability Committee was created to help us implement and operationalize the principles outlined in the Statement of Intent.

The Coalition offers a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship that covers the full cost of our class sessions. In 2023, the Coalition gave out more than 60 DEI scholarships, and we intend to increase that number in 2024.
