The Coalition Theater is thrilled to present its 7th Annual 2ND BEST FEST, running June 6-8, featuring improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy acts from all over the US, crammed into 3 magical nights at 2 different venues!

Day 3 at the Basement brings us TRIKE, one of the most critically acclaimed improv duos in New York, and features the Coalition theater's own improvised "play," Still Life, with stand-up comedy from Richmond's Hannah Land.

Still Life is the made-up story of several characters in the same place at the same time (twice) who have their lives shown to an audience to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real: Still Life.

Hannah Land is a standup comedian based in Richmond, VA. She's appeared on shows like The Hearst Girls, The Big City Standup Show (like the ones in New York), Comedy @ Buskey, and more! She also produces and hosts What's the Deal with Airplane Food?, a monthly standup showcase at Ardent Craft Ales.

 

Located in Richmond's Downtown Arts District, the mission of the nonprofit Coalition Theater is to build an inclusive space where laughter connects people. Proceeds from 2ND BEST FEST help further this mission, supporting performances, comedic education, and community outreach.
