Featuring guest openers Sarah Ahmed (11/26) and Francesca Lyn (11/27)

Francesca Lyn
is a comedian and Dr. of Comic Books at VCU in Richmond, VA. You can see her performing her cool, cerebral style of stand-up all over the city, including co-hosting The Late Night Snack at Sticky Rice, and Isley Brewing's open mic. She also co-hosts the podcast You're Making Me Hungry with Tom Hall. She's opened for such comics as Lydia House, Brandie Posey, Jasmine Ellis, and Judah Friedlander.

Sarah Ahmed is originally from Huntington, WV. Ahmed started her comedy career in November of 2014, performing for the first time at a dive bar called "Pie" in Richmond's Fan district. A year later, she began running her own comedy room at Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream called Beans, Bits & Brews-- the only woman-ran show in Richmond at that time. She now teaches stand-up at the Coalition Theater and is among the company members who perform regularly in improv, sketch, and stand-up shows. Ahmed's comedy revolves around politics, her unpredictable DNA, and anything she considers a "predicament."
