Giddyup, y'all. Coalition Theater is back with in-person shows and we're kicking off our fall season with MASK-UP & LAUGH every Friday at 8pm - a variety show featuring a selection of some of the Coalition's favorite comedy acts. Sometimes it'll be all improv. Other times it may be a mix of improv, stand-up, and/or sketch! Who knows?! We're making this up as we go.
Tonight's show features a 1-2-1-2 punch of comedy with stand-up from Dawniesha Ramsay and Kim Villamera, as well as improv from the duos of Sweet Sweet Angel Babies and Naked Chess!

DAWNIESHA RAMSAY is originally from Brooklyn, but found her love for comedy in Richmond, VA. She’s an army veteran who has a strong passion for performing and has been doing so for eight years. She’s a former clash Of the comics winner, she’s opened for Vince Morris and Jake the Snake, and has performed across a dozen cities across the United States and on several army bases!
NAKED CHESS: Jazmine and Nadeya met at the stroke of midnight December 31, 2018 and have never looked back. Kindred spirits from the moment they met, of course they both loved improv. Creating a team that performs 2 rooms, with a single scene in each space, gives them permission to grow and play and support each other. That’s what friends are for! Whether or not they play chess naked is for them to know and you to try and find out
SWEET SWEET ANGEL BABIES have flown right down from angel heaven and boy are their sweet little baby arms tired. Josh Wright and Lauren Serpa are two Bffs who love doing everything together, especially sharing the comedy stage. They have been performing together as a long form improv duo for about four years and they even have a top secret hand(wing)shake. They sweetly storm the stage with a sprinkling of physically active characters that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
