Giddyup, y'all. Coalition Theater is back with in-person shows and we're kicking off our fall season with MASK-UP & LAUGH every Friday at 8pm - a variety show featuring a selection of some of the Coalition's favoritest comedy acts. Sometimes it'll be all improv. Other times it may be a mix of improv, stand-up, and/or sketch! Who knows?!
Tonight's show is an all-improv lovefest featuring Short & Fast improv games like you'd see on Whose Line is it Anyway?, a special Coalition Starmix performance (a mixture of Coalition's most delicious stars), and the powerhouse duo of Nick Leveski and Patrick Gantz aka PACK.
PACK- Nick Leveski and Patrick Gantz are both refugees from the esteemed Chicago improv scene who moved to Richmond for their wives but have found true partners in one another. At this point, these old men have been improvising longer than they haven't been. Nick's comedy has won awards. The Guardian called Patrick "somewhat overwrought." "PACK" comes from mashing up their first names and the result, just like these gentlemen, is greater than the sum of its farts.
