The Coalition’s longest running improvised show series, Richmond Famous, features live and totally unscripted comedy created on the spot and inspired by the true stories of some of RVA’s most interesting people. This month the Coalition welcomes the River City Magnolias to the stage!

The River City Magnolias is an amateur water ballet club in Richmond, Virginia. They share a nostalgia for the spirit of synchronized swimming of yesteryear while celebrating the current energy of our community. They promote a joyful, healthy, and body-positive approach to fitness and encourage an environment of diversity, friendship, self-confidence, and perseverance. The River City Magnolias strive to give back to the community and to promote our vision of fitness, diverse beauty, and water safety.
