Jonas Benz began writing and performing sketch at James Madison University when he had the revelation that you could write down funny things for future use. Finding a home at Coalition Theater in 2022, he quickly became involved with many facets of the theater between sketch, improv, and serving various hard seltzers at the bar. With 5+ years experience in comedy writing, a few online workshops under his belt, and over 100 sketches written (some of which are even good) Jonas is now a member of the illustrious Egg Group sketch team and a currently unnamed sketch team that will perform every other month in 2024.
