Matt is a co-founder and Financial Director at Coalition Theater, having also lead all theater operations from 2013 to 2017. Matt also founded and continues to work within Coalition’s educational operations, which offers comedic arts classes in Improv, Sketch and Stand-up. His experience facilitating workshops extends to organizations focused on teamwork, communication, and ideation such as GE, Altria, Prophet, Brookings, Science Museum of Virginia, and Richmond Symphony, among others. Matt works as a managerial consultant at The Frontier Project and served as an Adjunct Professor teaching communication skills with the VCU School of Business. For several years, he studied and was a house team member at Chicago’s iO Theatre and a graduate of the iO Chicago training center, where he studied under some of the best improv instructors in the world. He is a friendly person and serious professional.
